Hawaii: Aloha and Happy New Year!

Hawaii is an archipelago of eight major islands and many smaller islands. This US state is known for its beautiful beaches, lush rainforests, and active volcanoes. It is also home to a unique culture that blends Polynesian and American influences.  There are many reasons to visit Hawaii, here are just a few: The beaches: Hawaii has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. From white-sand beaches to black-sand beaches, there is a beach for everyone in Hawaii. The scenery: Hawaii is home to stunning scenery, from snow-capped mountains to active volcanoes. You can hike through rainforests, go snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, or drive along the winding roads of the North Shore.  The food: Hawaii has a diverse cuisine that reflects its multicultural population. You can find everything from traditional Hawaiian dishes to Japanese, Chinese, and Filipino food. The people: The people of Hawaii are known for their aloha spirit, which is aloha means love, peace, and compassion. You will find that the people of Hawaii are friendly and welcoming, and they will make you feel right at home. Hawaii has a warm climate year-round, but the best time to visit depends on what you want to do. If you want to avoid the crowds, the best time to visit is during the shoulder seasons (April-May and September-October). If you want to go swimming and sunbathing, the best time to visit is during the summer (June-August). If you want to go hiking and camping, the best time to visit is during the spring (May-June) or fall (September-October). The best way to get around Hawaii depends on the island you are visiting. On Oahu, the most populous island, you can get around easily by public transportation, taxi, or Uber. On the other islands, you will need to rent a car to get around. We recommend a jeep, of course. Hawaii is a truly amazing place with something to offer everyone. Aloha!
