Lucca is a popular tourist destination, and is easily accessible from Florence and Pisa. The town was founded by the Etruscans in the 7th century BC. There are many things to see and do in Lucca. For example, take a walk or bike around the city walls: The city walls are one of Lucca's most iconic features. They are over 2 miles long, and offer stunning views of the city. One can also visit Piazza dell'Anfiteatro. This beautiful square was once an amphitheater. Furthermore, Lucca is home to many beautiful churches and palaces. Some of the most notable include the Duomo, the San Michele in Foro, and the Palazzo Pfanner. Or my personal favorite activity, take a cooking class. Lucca is home to a number of excellent cooking schools. This is a great way to learn about traditional Tuscan cuisine.
Lucca is a beautiful city year-round. Overall, Lucca is a beautiful and charming city that is well worth a visit. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the Italian way of life. Buona giornata! Ciao!
